This is one of two designs we did for a major national furniture supplier.  Construction and assembly methods as well as production and shipping costs were taken into account during the design process.

A strong, clean, planar geometry were the drivers of the concept.  We drew inspirations from both Japanese and Scandinavian architecture and furniture.  These will come in different materials and colours, however, our initial design suggested the use of sealed ply with hints of white to accentuate the beautiful grains and warmth which exists in plywood.
